Practice evidence
Short activities, reading responses, writing tasks, discussion or applied practice depending on the pathway.
Completion task
A final age- and level-appropriate task demonstrating the key course outcomes. Successful completion can generate an RCI certificate of completion; it is not presented as a regulated qualification.
Who this pathway is for
This pathway is designed for Early Years learners (ages 4–6) who want to develop patterns, phoneme mapping, word families, proofreading at Confident level.
Progression
After completion, learners can move into a higher-level pathway within Spelling, apply the skill in another literacy domain, join a Reading Ambassador pathway, or continue through the Reading Passport and Literacy App.
