Practice evidence
Short activities, reading responses, writing tasks, discussion or applied practice depending on the pathway.
Completion task
A final age- and level-appropriate task demonstrating the key course outcomes. Successful completion can generate an RCI certificate of completion; it is not presented as a regulated qualification.
Who this pathway is for
This pathway is designed for Upper Primary learners (ages 10–12) who want to develop sound discrimination, blending, segmenting, phoneme manipulation at Mastery level.
Progression
After completion, learners can move into a higher-level pathway within Phonemic Awareness, apply the skill in another literacy domain, join a Reading Ambassador pathway, or continue through the Reading Passport and Literacy App.
